New European Bauhaus Prizes 2023

21-22 Jun 2023
Brussels, Belgium

On the 21st and 22nd of June 2023, Brussels will host the New European Bauhaus in Regions and Cities event. Over 250 participants from across the EU, including NEB project creators, local and regional authorities, and other relevant stakeholders will attend the two-day event in Brussels. It will act as a platform for knowledge sharing and debate on how to maximize the initiative, how to get beyond current implementation obstacles, and how to consider the contribution of cohesion policy to the NEB implementation.

The first day of the conference will be dedicated to creating a community of NEB practitioners in the framework of cohesion policy. It will offer a forum for discussion between local actors from throughout the EU, NEB project developers, and cohesion policy implementers.

On the second day, the event will formally start. This will be followed by a high-level panel discussion, which will provide attendees the chance to consider how the NEB adds value to the lives of people across all of Europe. The day will end with the announcement of the 15 NEB Prizes winners for 2023, and the laureates of the biggest dedicated EU call under the European Urban Initiative call.

You can follow the official opening, the high-level panel, and the awards ceremony online on the official NEB Prizes platform.
