The final workshop in the Community of Cities series will take place on September 24 from 10:00 to 12:00 CEST and will bring together city representatives and stakeholders to reflect on the future of the Community of Cities and explore pathways for its long-term sustainability.
At the heart of this session is a forward-looking exercise designed to co-create an operational canvas that will guide participants in future visioning and strategic planning of urban transformation.
What’s on the agenda:
- Guest speaker
Carlo Battisti (Living Future Europe) will open the workshop with a keynote intervention during the first 20–30 minutes.
- Skills and strengths mapping
Participants will identify the key skills, knowledge areas, or strengths they wish or need to develop based on their local or organisational context. - Actions and resources
Together, we will define concrete actions and resources, whether internal efforts or external collaborations, to strengthen those areas. - Personalised action plans
The session will conclude with the design of individual action plans, enabling participants to map out realistic next steps to achieve their development goals.
This final workshop is a unique opportunity to co-design the legacy and potential second phase of the Community of Cities, ensuring its role as a driver of sustainable urban transformation across Europe.
