Architecture for Resilient Communities: A Focus on World Architecture Day 2023

02 Oct 2023

The first Monday in October, which also happens to be World Habitat Day, will be a historic commemoration for World Architecture Day. The International Union of Architects for the 2023 has chosen the theme “Resilient urban economies: cities as drivers of growth and recovery” highlighting the role of architecture in nurturing dynamic community life and sparking a global conversation about the connection between urban and rural areas across the world.

The Eyes Hearts Hands district of Høje-Taastrup is actively engaging young people associated with Gadehavegård, providing them opportunities to earn by undertaking small tasks around the municipality.

The World Architecture Day in 2023 looks to be a vibrant forum for architects, urban planners, decision-makers, and thought-leaders to come together and explore game-changing concepts that will influence architecture in the future for the benefit of communities and the environment.
