Unlike the previous workshops, which focused on knowledge exchange, this third session centred on real-time testing of the Decision Support System (DSS), a tool being developed to support sustainable urban transformation in line with the New European Bauhaus (NEB) principles.
Participants took part in a creative urban planning scenario that allowed them to explore the tool’s functionality by taking on various roles, such as planners or community stakeholders, and simulating decision-making processes. They interacted with parameters like district size, CO₂ emissions, energy consumption, social dynamics and financial constraints.
Stay tuned for the final chapter in this collaborative journey, where we’ll reflect on the full arc of the workshops and ultimately the final version of the DSS tool.
