The third workshop in the Community of Cities series will take place on June 17 from 10 to 12 CET and will bring together city representatives and stakeholders to explore practical tools and approaches for urban transformation.
At the heart of this session is the Decision Support System (DSS) Tool, developed within the EHHUR project. This web-based application is designed to help municipalities integrate decarbonisation strategies into their existing policies and planning frameworks.
What’s on the agenda:
- Guest presentation – Aase Højlund Nielsen (DESIRE Project)
Aase Højlund Nielsen will offer a perspective on the New European Bauhaus (NEB) and how its values – sustainability, inclusion and beauty – can inspire and shape urban decarbonisation strategies. - Case study – Lighthouse 3: Zoersel (Belgium)
Representatives from Zoersel, one of the project’s lighthouse cities, will present their journey throughout the EHHUR project. - DSS Tool
The workshop will conclude with a live demonstration and participatory testing of the DSS Tool. This interactive sessionn will allow participants to try the tool themselves, offer feedback and discuss how it could be further adapted to meet the needs of different urban contexts.
