Our project Eyes Hearts Hands envisions creating a Community of Cities, connecting over 50 representatives to collaboratively implement the New European Bauhaus (NEB) core values—sustainability, inclusivity, and beauty. Over the course of four online workshops, participants will have the opportunity to foster collaboration, exchange knowledge, and explore innovative solutions to pressing urban challenges through the NEB framework.
Highlights from the first workshop
- 60% of participants described themselves as “somewhat familiar” with the NEB, emphasising the need for further awareness-raising.
- Participants worked in collaborative exercises to identify priorities for the upcoming Decision Support System (DSS). Key takeaways included:
- Top categories for urban development inputs: CO2 emissions of buildings, financial resources available, and type of intervention planned.
- High-priority DSS features: financing method suggestions, social measures, and technical solutions.
The workshop set the stage for stronger collaboration among city representatives.
The next session in the series is coming soon—stay tuned for more updates!
